Luxurious 3-ply Bulky Alpaca Yarn - 200 Yards - 80/20% Huacaya/Suri Alpaca and Bamboo

This luxurious 3-ply yarn is made from 32% Huacaya / 48% Suri Alpaca 20% Bamboo. Each skein weighs a whopping 6.5 ounces and is 200 yards long!

Did you know that alpaca yarn is: Durable, elastic, flame resistant, hypoallergenic (allergy free), isolating, itch-free, lightweight, natural colors, resists odors, soft, stain resistant, strong, sustainable, water repellent (wicking), wind resistant and wrinkle-free? It is!!!!

The little bit of bamboo that we added to this yarn makes it even more soft and drapable, smooth and luxurious to the touch, anti-static and abrasion resistant. It adds a coolness and comfort to the garments made from this yarn.

This bulky alpaca yarn is made from alpacas located and raised here on our farm. Purple Rain by Sharp Dressed Man (Dark Silver Gray Suri) and CBAR Cohiba's Credo (Dark Silver Gray Huacaya) compliment each other wonderfully in this beautiful, soft yarn. This yarn has a smooth, buttery handle and is so, so, so soft! Squishy even!

Knit: 12-15 sts/ 4 in / 10 cm on 5.5 – 8 mm Metric Needles or 9 - 11 US Needles.
Crochet: 8-11 sts / 4 in / 10 cm on 6.5 – 9 mm Metric Hook or K 10 1/2 - M 13 US Hook.
